Helm is the package manager for Kubernetes, where it helps you to deploy the application in your Kubernetes cluster in minutes.
helm chart helps you install or upgrade the complex application in your cluster. Even you can create a helm chart for your custom application.
Helm helps you deploy an application in any environment such as dev, stage, prod where you can externalize the value for each environment.

Installation

Binary installation

choose your desired version of helm from this link, https://github.com/helm/helm/releases


cd /tmp
wget https://get.helm.sh/helm-v3.5.4-linux-amd64.tar.gz
tar -xvzf helm-v3.5.4-linux-amd64.tar.gz

mv linux-amd64/helm /usr/local/bin/helm

Ubuntu

curl https://baltocdn.com/helm/signing.asc | sudo apt-key add -
sudo apt-get install apt-transport-https --yes
echo "deb https://baltocdn.com/helm/stable/debian/ all main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/helm-stable-debian.list
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install helm

thats it, now you have completed your installation.
