install cordova and ionic in ubuntu

Hi Techrunnr Readers, this document deals with how to install cordova and ionic in ubuntu server.
Node.js is an open-source, cross-platform JavaScript run-time environment that executes JavaScript code outside of a browser.

NodeJs

1. Add the repository

sudo apt-get install python-software-properties
curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_8.x | sudo -E bash -

2. Install nodejs

sudo apt-get install nodejs
Cordova

Apache Cordova is a mobile application development framework originally created by Nitobi. Adobe Systems purchased Nitobi in 2011, rebranded it as PhoneGap, and later released an open source version of the software called Apache Cordova

1. Install cordova

sudo npm install -g cordova
Ionic

Ionic is a complete open-source SDK for hybrid mobile app development created by Max Lynch, Ben Sperry and Adam Bradley of Drifty Co. in 2013. The original version was released in 2013 and built on top of AngularJS and Apache Cordova. The more recent releases, known as Ionic 3 or simply “Ionic”, are built on Angular.

1. Install Ionic

sudo npm install -g ionic

Check version using below command

ionic -v
