Hi All, this document shows you how to setup AWS config for your AWS account.
AWS Config provides an inventory of your AWS resources and a history of configuration changes to these resources.

Let’s start !!!

* AWS admin privilege account

Step 1: Log in to the AWS account and Navigate to AWS config service.
Step 2: Now click on the get started button to begin the AWS config setup.

Step 3: Configure the following,
AWS Certifications

Resources Type to record.
Amazon S3 bucket details.
Amazon SNS topic: In my case, I'm not enabling for now.
AWS config role.

Step 4: Once you provide the above information click on the Next button.

Step 5: Choose the rules which you need to monitor.

Step 6: Click Next once you complete Step 5. Then review the Setup configuration.

Step 7: Click on the Confirm button to begin the creation process. It will take a few seconds to get complete.
Step 8: Now click on the dashboard to view the compliance report. Note, the report is based on the rules which you have created before. You can add and delete the rules at any point in time. Even you can create custom rules for your infrastructure other than the AWS predefined rules.
