Node.js is a platform built on Chrome’s JavaScript runtime for easily building fast, scalable network applications.

Step 1: Enable node.js yum repository and development tools to build native add-ons.
yum install -y gcc-c++ make
curl -sL https://rpm.nodesource.com/setup_12.x | sudo -E bash -
Step 2: Install Node.js

After enabling node.js repository,now we need to install node.js along with this npm will be installed with node.js.

sudo yum install nodejs
Step 3: Check Version of Node.js and NPM

Check node version

node -v 

v12.8.0

Check npm version

npm -v 

6.10.2

Now npm and node has been installed.
