Hi Readers, this document deals with how to get the creation date of MySQL table.
MySQL is an open source relational database management system. Its name is a combination of “My”, the name of co-founder Michael Widenius’s daughter, and “SQL”, the abbreviation for Structured Query Language.

Sometimes we may need to check when the table is created in the schema, Here is the command for that.

SELECT create_time FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.TABLES
WHERE table_schema = 'your_schema'
AND table_name = 'your_table'

The following command can be used to check the last update of a table in the schema.

SELECT UPDATE_TIME
FROM information_schema.tables
WHERE TABLE_SCHEMA = 'dbname'
AND TABLE_NAME = 'tabname'
