Hi All, this document deals with how to disable password policy in MYSQL.
Latest Mysql releases come with a password validate plugin which ensures that users passwords are complex which provides more security.

You may observe the following error while entering weak passwords.
Your password does not satisfy the current policy requirements
So here I will tell you how to disable the password validate plugin.

Step 1: log in to Mysql

mysql -u root -p

step 2: remove the plugin

mysql > uninstall plugin validate_password;
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.03 sec)

That’s it, now have successfully remove password validate plugin from MySQL.
NOTE: Never ever do this in production server, Always maintain password policy.
